The Tournament

Let the games begin!

The tournament is the centrepiece of the Elysium ecosystem, it will last for 5 days, have a 2 day cooldown and then start again.

We wanted to make sure that everybody has the ability to enter the tournament weekly, so we set the starting price at 1000 $GOD

Assuming 3500 MetaGods enter the tournament, we will have a consistent burn of 3.5 million tokens every week. 50% of these tokens will be redistributed to the top winners of the tournament, 50% of these tokens will be burned and never to be seen again.

The 50% of X rewarded to winners is distributed as follows (X = total tournament pot)

• The top 10 receive 25% of X

• The top 50 Receive 25% of X

• The top 100 receive 25% of X

• The top 500 receive 25% of X

The tournament allows for a consistent and regular token sink to occur weekly in our economy, meaning as well as consistently giving out tokens, we are consistently taking them away, this is a very important concept with regard to our economy.
